"I am increasingly trying to minimise the impact of my works by reducing the waste produced. For "On The Road Again" I took the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and explore a new medium."
Tim Zdey is a painter born in Hong Kong in 1989. He left his job in finance in Mumbai in 2014 and moved to Paris to focus exclusively on painting, his lifelong passion. Since then, he divides his time between institutional projects and humanitarian initiatives. He collaborates with the luxury house Hermès, the city of Paris, holds exhibitions in Bogota, Mexico City and Brussels, and is involved with fragile populations around the world.
Although his graffiti practice is at the origin of his painting, he has moved away from it in recent years to concentrate on the development of a more personal universe. Pop influences, modern art painters and the Opart movement intersect to invite us into a shimmering world always imbued with positive energy.
